Had a productive meeting with Hon. Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, UN Peacekeeping. I emphasized Nepal’s long-standing support for and contribution to UN peacekeeping. I requested for increased inclusion of Nepalis in senior and key UN peacekeeping positions.
