Engaged in a fruitful discussion with H.E. IWAYA Takeshi, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tokyo. During the meeting, I expressed my sincere gratitude to H.E. Takeshi for Japan’s valuable participation in the Sagarmatha Sambaad.

I also extended an invitation for Japan Airlines to consider launching flights to Nepal, which H.E. Takeshi graciously agreed to facilitate. Japan and Nepal enjoy a longstanding and enduring partnership. As we approach the 70th anniversary of our diplomatic relations, I look forward to further strengthening and expanding this partnership, fostering closer collaboration and mutual benefit for both countries.
