Honored to address the “Four Betters for Small Island Developing States (SIDS), Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs)” high-level roundtable at the 44th Session of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Conference in Rome, Italy. The Four Betters – a framework that prioritizes better production, better nutrition, better environment, and better life – is the FAO’s approach to a more sustainable and inclusive agrifood system. As a representative of a largely agrarian country, I expressed my gratitude for and reaffirmed my commitment to this visionary initiative.
