Addressed the High-Level Segment of the 58th Session of the Human Rights Council (HRC) in Geneva, Switzerland. I emphasized Nepal’s unwavering commitment to the protection and promotion of human rights, requesting UN Member States’ support for Nepal’s election to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the term 2027–2029. I also invited delegates to attend the first edition of Nepal’s ‘Sagarmatha Sambaad’ scheduled for May, 2025 in Kathmandu.
