Hon. Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Appointed as Minister of the Foreign Affairs of Nepal on 15^th July 2024

Hon. Arzu Rana Deuba, Ph.D was elected as the one of the chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture,Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee on 28 August,2023.

In 2022, Honorable Arzu Rana Deuba,Ph.D was elected as the member of House of Representative form the Federal Parliament.

Arzu Rana Deuba, Ph.D, served as a member of the Second Constituent Assembly (CA-II) as well as the member of  Parliament from 2013 to 2017. She was also a member of  Constitution Drafting Committee and Standing Committee on Parliamentary Hearings. Furthermore, she served as chair of the Women Parliamentarians Coordination Committee.

Since 2000, She has been a member of Nepali Congress Party Convention and Central Leadership Voting Committee. She is elected as the member of Nepali Congress Central Working Committee from 2010 to till date.

Arzu Rana Deuba. Phd, served as the member of first Constituent Assembly(CA-I) from 2008 to 2012, also a member of Constituent assembly committee on State Restructuring and Division Of Power.

She joined the Nepali Congress Party in 1996 and has been actively involved in its activities since then.

Arzu Rana Deuba, the daughter of Mr. Vinode Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana and Hon. Prativa Rana, was born on January 26, 1962, in the Lalitpur district of Nepal.
