Courtesy call by H.E. Bader Omar Ismail Al Dafa, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Climate Change and Sustainability of the State of Qatar. On behalf of the Nepali government, I thanked H.E. Dafa for Qatar’s commitment to securing the release and repatriation of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali national held hostage by Hamas since October 2023. I requested Qatar to continue efforts to this end. Nepal attaches high importance and is keen to expand its relations with Qatar. I look forward to conducting productive deliberations with H.E. Dafa during the Sagarmatha Sambaad.
