A highly productive conversation with H.E. Mr. Volker Türk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on the sidelines of 58th Session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland today. We discussed Nepal’s constructive engagement and contribution in the Human Rights Council and Nepal’s candidacy to HRC for 2027-2029 tenure. We also exchanged views on Nepal’s transitional justice process, climate change, peace, stability and development.
